Position – Role required
IMS is looking for a system engineer for the Research & Development division in within IT department.
Resposibilities and Duties
- Management of our Active Directory server and of Office 365 services;
- Drafting necessary documents in compliance with the requirements of GDPR and Cybersecurity regulations, both for IT infrastructures with our company and IT products related to produced equipment;
- Collaborating with Research & Development division for the realization of projects and for project modifications, both in the filed of systems and hardware configuration, related to IT products (computer, display,) within equipment produced by our company;
- Collaborating with Technical Assistance division for the resolution of systemic problems related to equipment installed on site;
- Contributing, for the part of your own competences, to the realization of User and Service manuals in collaboration with the office in charge of manual management;
- Collaborating within production, examination and confirmation of technical documentation and keeping technical projects up-to-date;
- Collaborating with quality department for the realization of projects in compliance with national and international standards, regulations and directives.
Experience and skills
Ideal candidate

- In-depth knowledge of server and client Windows operating systems: The candidate should know how to install and configure a Windows operating system and have in-depth knowledge of the management of Windows Active Directory and its security policies;
- Excellent skills in managing and configuring computer networks;
- Microsoft 365 Service Management;
- Ability to manage Windows OS backups with tools, such as Acronis, winpe, etc;
- Passion for technology and computer science.
Preferential requirements
- Previous and proven experience as a Microsoft Windows server System Engineer;
- Virtualized operating system administration experience;
- Ability to choose hardware components to create a complete new configuration of a PC, calibrating its specifications according to technical needs and production costs;
- Knowledge of GDPR documentation and cybersecurity procedures;
- Experience in Cloud Datacenter Management (Microsoft Azure, AWS);
- Microsoft certification;
- Knowledge of firewall, switch and Fortinet antivirus configuration.
Language skills
Good knowledge of spoken and written English, ability autonomy to write technical manuals in English.
