Sales Area Manager – International

In the framework of constant growth GMM is looking for a Sales Area Manager for international markets.
Position – Role required
With the aim of strengthening of the International Sales Management GMM is looking for a profile that will be responsible for a specific Sales Area and will pursue the commercial development (Business, Revenue, Margins) of all product lines in that area, the expansion of the Client roster and the optimization of the sales process.
Responsabilities
The candidate will be responsible for:
- In collaboration with Management, will be responsible for the definition of the Sales Strategy and business development in the assigned Area;
- Management of relationships with Clients, Tenders, development of an in-depth knowledge of the market, local competitors and requirements;
- Direct management of negotiations and commercial talks with Clients;
- Interact with R&D and Marketing Departments reporting outcomes of Tenders and requirements of the Market with respect to competitors in the different areas and for different product lines;
- Development, together with the Marketing Department, of a joint strategy outlining the possible markets in which the Company’s solutions can prove to be appealing to potential Clients in that area;
- Draw up of forecast, budget and assist in the drafting of the price list;
- Expand the sales network in the assigned areas, establish sales plans for current Agents and Dealers in the territory;
- Develop plans to create new partnerships with Agents and Dealers in under-developed markets.
Experience and Skills
Ideal candidate:
- Degree in Biomedical Engineering preferable;
- At least 5 years’ experience in the medical device or in the diagnostic field industry, with proven sales achievements.
We also require:
- Background experience in preparation for technical presentations, tenders and contracts;
- Available to travel frequently both in Europe and in Middle East;
- Open to new challenging experiences;
- Attitude to work in and for Sales and Marketing team;
- Dynamic and fast learning;
- Self-motivated, determined and goal-oriented personality with drive towards new business;
- Entrepreneurship.
Language Skills:
- The fluent knowledge of English language is a must and another language is an added value (preference for French is given).
